What we Offer!
Cho's Tae Kwon Do Centers have been offering some of the highest quality martial art instruction to the Greater Houston Area since 1978. Our Original Academy opened its doors back in 1978 on Westheimer Road near Dairy Ashford and its still there to this day!
Now we are looking to expand into the Pearland Area! We currently offer Classes for Both Kids and Adults and are adding more classes as we grow. Apart from having a set schedule we are also offering special event classes at many of the local community centers, children's day cares, and more!
The Head Coach of our Community Out Reach Program, Coach Mario Melendez who has nearly 2 decades worth of martial art experience, teaches a mixture of Traditional Tae Kwon Do, Modern Kickboxing, Submission Wrestling and more!

About Coach Mario Melendez
Coach Mario began his martial art journey almost 2 decades ago and has been training ever since! He began his training in Chinese Wushu / Kung Fu and Tai Chi before transitioning over to Tae Kwon Do in the early 2000's training with Grandmaster Kyu Ha Cho at the Original Academy on Westheimer. Coach Mario currently splits his time between teaching classes at our Original Academy and his duties as Head Coach of our Community Outreach Program teaching Tae kwon Do and Kickboxing currently to the greater Pearland Area of Houston.
Our Pearland Classes include training in:

- Cardio Kickboxing
- Self Defense application
- Bully Safety & Stranger Danger
- and more as we grow to serve our community!
Class Schedule
Tuesday & Thursdays
- 6:00pm Kids TKD (ages 6 - 12)
- 7:15pm Adults TKD (ages 13+)
Fridays:
- 6:00pm Kids TKD (ages 6 -12)
Saturdays:
- 11:00am Kids TKD (ages 6 - 12)
- 12:00pm Adults TKD (ages 13+)
